The Tequila Guy has savored tequila for more than 15 years. Since the beginning, his interest has turned into a passion (ok...some would say obsession) that has opened his eyes to the skill, artistry and care needed to make fine tequilas.  It is this passion that drove him to taste hundreds of tequilas; not in search of the ultimate tequila, but to fill his experiences with a deeper understanding of everything tequila has to offer. 

With a wealth of knowledge accumulated from the tastings, he attempts to convert the uninitiated, misguided and misinformed into the tequila loving community by dispeling long held myths regarding tequila so everyone can appreciate the true essence of tequila.

Before starting his own amazing website The Tequila Guy searched the internet for a website to increase his knowledge, understanding and growing collection of tequilas. While finding quite a few, none seemed to put everything together in one place. Therefore, The Tequila Guy took the opportunity to create his own site to promote 100% agave tequilas and educate, entertain and enlighten those interested in them.

The Tequila guy extends a small branch of the tequila community to the east coast of the US where he hopes demand for Mexico's liquid gold can begin to match that of those states close to tequila's origin.  He also enjoys discovering unique and interesting tequila retreats during his travels internationally to share with others that may appreciate the experience.
